Weekly Photo Challenge – Pattern

I enjoy the weekly photo challenge because it allows me to search my ever growing archive of photos and relive some of the adventures I have enjoyed over the years. Occasionally i find something that seems to fit the challenge so perfectly that it appears I made the picture specifically for the response. Today is such a time, I believe. My hometown has three labyrinths that have a specific pattern in their design.

I know it seems unfathomable, but according to the information i found online for this labyrinth if you follow the pattern in walking you will cover three quarters of a mile. As I mentioned with a specific post I made about the labyrinth the intent is not necessarily for physical exercise, but spiritual peace. With our ever increasing pace of life, the introduction of sites like this may be just what we need!

I never thought the intent for labyrinths is for spiritual peace… interesting 🙂
