Thursday Doors – September 19, 2019

I thought I would continue with the doors from our Disaster Relief trip to Washington, North Carolina last September following Hurricane Florence. The first door is on a Flood Recovery Unit originating in Kansas City, MO.

The second is the doors on a shower unit from the Clinch Valley Baptist Association, a neighboring association from the Southwest side of Virginia.

Third is the open door of our Disaster Relief trailer, the hub of activity as we retrieve the necessary tools to salvage everything we can from a flooded home.

Finally, the door inside the garage of the first home we helped begin recovery with a water line just above the door handle. Thankfully this was in a garage one level lower than the actual living area of the home. An hour further South homes had water up to eight feet into the interiors.
