Friday Follies – S4E9 – August 27, 2019

Hallelujah, the farmers are finally picking their own produce! It makes me think of a parent encouraging, cajoling, bribing or ultimately ordering their child to pick up their room. Maybe this isn;t as funny as I see it, but maybe the Watermelon Pickers Union had a falling out with the farmers and are making them do it now.

I stumbled across this last week during my Central American mission trip when I actually had time to search through the WordPress Reader for appealing challenges. It is right up my alley. Really I am anxious to see if what I call funny is what you call funny, so let me know. Sometimes my wife doesn’t share my sense of humor, so some of you might not either.

Written for Proscenium’s Friday Follies, Season 4, Episode 8.

About Joe Owens

Can you tell from my writing I love God? I hope so because that is what I want you to know most about me. I am also a writer who loves taking on fiction prompts and crafting a story. One day you will read my work in print. Until then enjoy it here! For free!
