This is an entry for Jez Braithwaite’s Fan of . . .
A post of this size requires refreshment before you begin, so if you need to top off coffee or butter some toast I will wait. Well, actually I have already waited and then continued this post, so we’re all good. My blogging adventure began a while back, even before starting here on WordPress in October of 2012. Recently I got a royalty check from my other blog site which reminded me it was still active. But for pure engagement I find WordPress better, by far!
When I began posting one of my first was about something called Frankenstorm, one of the first monikers handed to what eventually be came a super-storm named Sandy. Back then I had a single blog here, Joe’s Musings, which is still the flag ship. Altogether on this blog there is a total of 804 Posts about a number of topics, musings, as the name says.
You’re there now as this post will roll of the Joe’s Musings assembly track as number 805.
Then I became to have specific interest that developed over time. The one nearest and dearest to my heart is the fiction blog I named The Fiction Playground. Here I follow some of the various photo fiction challenges, chiefly among them Friday Fictioneers where only a meager 100 words is used to craft a story. I also document some attempts at NANOWRIMO, which is writing a novel in 30 days. So far 414 posts are live here.
You can find it here: The Fiction Playground
At the moment the apple of my eye is my flower blog, Chasing the Blooms. I am in the midst of a 44 post streak on my way to who knows how many. Why? Because I have hooked on to a friend’s quest to better the internet everyday with a photo of a flower in her Flower of the Day post. CTB moved into second lately with 454 posts.
Here is Chasing the Blooms
Another of the strong pieces of my personal conviction is my faith. I am a son of Jesus Christ and always seek to represent him well. I constantly feel I am under serving in this arena as my blog posts to Living the J.O.Y. Principle are fewer than the others blogs.
My wife says I have a never ending list of hobbies. AS I take stock of my life I can see her point. But here is the one I hope to ride into retirement. Recently I finally began a model railroad collection.

I know, this is a long post, but Jez asks us to share what we are a fan of, so here they are!
I hope to see your latest Fan Of . . . post on Jez’ site.
Great post, Joe 😁 You were right about the refreshments 😂
