Co-ordination- SoCS – August 17, 2019

I have been away from meaningful blogging including SoCS for some time now. Partly due to brain drain and also lack of inside time. Up until now I have been working on this outdoor masterpiece.

So the Co-ordination came in setting up an operation to assemble 100 backpacks for some kids in Belize on a mission trip that just ended. Arranging 100 empty backpacks, about 1200 exercise workbooks, crayons, pencils, glue sticks, pens, erasers, sharpener’s, scissors, folders and other items. Then you add the older kids who have dictionaries and atlases and specialized workbooks and you try to coordinate for names and for schools and grade levels. See what I mean by coordination?

Speaking of co-ordination, Google Photos and WordPress aren’t coordinating on the Wi-Fi connection in Belize. I will clean that up when I get a more robust Wi-Fi connection.

About Joe Owens

Can you tell from my writing I love God? I hope so because that is what I want you to know most about me. I am also a writer who loves taking on fiction prompts and crafting a story. One day you will read my work in print. Until then enjoy it here! For free!

  1. Sunflowers are so cool. The way they turn their faces to the sun. To me it is a metaphor for people who are naturally inclined to look toward God.

  2. Laura says:

That’s quite the masterpiece! Love these photos.

  3. JoAnna says:

Truly a masterpiece with the sunflowers. I think I see bees. And good work on the backpacks!

  4. Maggie says:

I love your outside masterpiece. The backpacks are a worthy cause and good reason for any absence.

    • Joe Owens says:

Maggie I am so excited to get home to see how much it’s progressed. Unfortunately it will be dark by the time I get home I have to wait until the morning.

So you took time to read what I wrote and I appreciate it, but comments are even better!
