Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Signs – 07/06/17

This week the topic is Signs.

This is the sign for the Metro Rail system in Washington, DC that gives you a heads up to which train is next to arrive in the station.

sign2 While in Lancaster, PA I saw an advertisement for this model railroad layout in nearby Strasburg, PA. Don’t let the name fool you the Choo Choo Barn is certainly not aimed for children only but one of the largest and most professional layouts of model trains I have enjoyed.

While in Strasburg we also enjoyed the Strasburg Railroad, a tourist rail attraction that is billed as the longest continuous running rail road in North America.

On our fourth day of vacation we made a visit to Arlington Cemetery. We were told by another visitor that Benjamin Netanyahu was supposed to be laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, but I am not sure if or when that occurred.

About Joe Owens

Can you tell from my writing I love God? I hope so because that is what I want you to know most about me. I am also a writer who loves taking on fiction prompts and crafting a story. One day you will read my work in print. Until then enjoy it here! For free!

So you were somewhere between Rosalyn and Stadium-Armory on the Metro. I hope you enjoyed your vacation. Choo Choo Barn sounds like a great place. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting about the model train place. I do like seeing these. We saw a really good one in Kansas City MO, at Union Station, one time. It was very large & fascinating. 🙂

So you took time to read what I wrote and I appreciate it, but comments are even better!
