This is my first time in a while, but I have been collecting sky photos so I could try again. This is a southeastern facing sunrise across my neighbors fence toward Whitetop Mountain and Mount Rogers in Virginia.

Beautiful! Welcome back to Skywatch. It’s a wonderful place to catch glimpses of some of the most gorgeous skies around the world, isn’t it?
Sky watching is one of my favorite things. My handicap in it is two-fold, 1) I don’t carry a professional style camera with me to get great shots and 2) my camera phone tends to neglect some of the most beautiful shades of color.
