I know one thing for sure and that I will declare here and now. Trying to get ready for the 2015 A to Z challenge sure can make you harried. Why do i know this? Because I chose to not only do it for one blog, but THREE. THREE! What was I thinking?
What I was thinking is it is a great opportunity to get traffic to my blogs. Since I decided to develop blogs targeted to some of my main interests I have been also trying to determine ways to get traffic to the same. The A to Z Challenge seems a great way to do this since there is a sizable amount of folks who come looking when the calendar reflects April 1st.
I can report a significant uptick in visitors from April 2013. I got to know several new bloggers and I collaborated with a few on a multi-part fiction serial. You have a great chance to expand your fellow blogger universe during the moth of April as you visit other blogs and receive visits from new readers.
Even though it has been a busy time trying to prepare for the kickoff, I am proud to share the calendar that follows:
As expected the Fiction Playground is the star blog, with the most posts. Chasing the blooms is next, followed by Faith By Acts and Movies, TV and Streaming, Oh My! These three blogs will be the only ones I work during the A to Z. I originally wanted to do 4 with Ballin’ All the Time, but the interest just isn’t there on my part or in visitors to the blog.
So there you have my report on myself for the month of March. Overall the posts have lessened somewhat, but there are new opportunities in the form of Monster 750, Chimera 66 and the Yeah Write Micro story. Be sure to come looking for the A to Z posts on the three blogs I mentioned and let me know what you think!
