Sunday is the beginning of another weekly invitation from Alastair to open our imagination and tell the world what we see in his photo prompt. There is always several rich stories that flow from this interesting photographic offering. If you fancy a short adventure add your 200 words or less and join the fray.

Felix hated his job. Of all the possible professions his had to be the absolute worst. He could tell by the way his co-workers snickered as he went about his daily tasks that what he did was not only ridiculous, but a terrible waste of talent. But here he was and here he likely would be for some time.
His mother had warned him. She encouraged him to pursue the difficult classes in school, but Felix resisted, riding the easy path to graduation. He still had a chance to attend university, but that was not his choice. Now he was paying for his indifference.
“Keep the visitors off the grass!” Mrs. Peabody sniffed as she gave him what was now a daily reminder. “Oh and there is this annoying black bird that keeps leaving a mess on the signs. Be sure you clean that up as soon as you can. I don’t care how many times you must each day, but keep it clean!”
Felix grabbed the gallon spray jug and his rags as he trudged toward the sweeping lawns of the estate.
