CWG7 : Chapter 2 Trapped

Week 7 is about a death row inmate who has a plan to avoid his untimely death. Come along and help us tell his story.

It all had come really by accident. He knew of the stories of Luis Allen Grangier, the only escapee ever from this hell hole. Warden Lee Ellis was fired and several guards reassigned when Grangier pulled his Houdini act thirty years before.

Hugh couldn’t believe his luck when he found the detailed plans from Ellis’ successful egress three decades before tucked inside the pocket of a coffee table book about toy boats that had not seen the light of day obviously since before Ellis broke out.

He had the plans memorized and burned them in the toilet to make sure no one could know his route.

Nice! That’s a good way to get a step up. But then again, a lot can change in 30 years…
