Critique Partner Matchmaker

Do you have a Critique Partner? You know, someone who will read your work objectively and tell you when it stinks?Every writer needs some one like this to give them an honest and constructive critique. You will read posts from several of your friends detailing a group of friends like this. But what if you don’t have that in place? Where do you go to find it?

Well, I cannot say I really knew before I saw a post on the blog of Brenda Drake. Brenda is one of those social media experts with connections all over the internet. She had a post promoting a Twitter event coming on January 20th (10a-10p) which promises to give you a chance to find the correct critique partner or partners for your writing style.

The event is actually hosted by Megan Grimit, a military wife and mother of two. Megan benefits from a great group of Critique Partners and wants everyone to have that benefit. By playing Critique Partner matchmaker she hopes to pair those wanting to find and be Critique Partners through a Twitter event.
