Lille McFerrin provides a weekly one word prompt and asks us to take five sentences to create a response. There is no word limit with this particular challenge, just a limit to the number of sentences. Be creative and tell your story. Thanks Lillie for giving us a new word each week.

Cameron pushed through the weeds, losing hope with every step that he would find the place where his grandmother’s flower garden once dominated. He wanted some of those beautiful treasures to give to Amanda when he picked her up for their date later that same afternoon. He tried to remember where they were, but there was so many overgrown weeds it was hard to remember what was what. Finally he broke through the mess into a patch of beautiful blooms. He knew he would love the smile this simple gift would spawn on Amanda’s face.
