Five Sentence Fiction – Thunder

Lille McFerrin provides a weekly one word prompt and asks us to take five sentences to create a response.  There is no word limit with this particular challenge, just a limit to the number of sentences. Be creative and tell your story. Thanks Lillie for giving us a new word each week.

The water was no place to be during a storm, but here they were. Darrin wanted to give her a romantic time before she returned to school following Labor Day. I want to share another opportunity for those of you who love writing flash fiction. Red Dwyer and Redmund Productions offer a quarterly publication that gathers 250 flash fiction stories according to a specific theme and set of words during a thirteen week time period. Right now is the fall session and several words are already in play. There is still over a month to go with this, so hop on over and try your hand: http://mommasmoneymatters.com/flash-fiction/
