Write A Short Story With Me – The Magill Review Edition – Part 3 by Me

During May and June I hosted a thirteen part collaborative fiction story challenge involving twelve other writers. Among that collection of writers was one by the name of Josh Magill. I met Josh as a result of winning a writing competition on his website, The Magill Review. Following the Baker’s Dozen Fiction Story Josh decided to host one of his own, but with each chapter coming in 100 word snippets.

If you follow my writing you know I like flash fiction as i participate in several ongoing flash fiction opportunities. Writing a story using only 100 words means you have to economize and make the words matter that you use. In this case I have the benefit of two preceding chapters that began to lay out the story. Mine is simply a little seasoning to the plot. I hope you will read mine and also the others that precede it by following this link to the story:

About Joe Owens

Can you tell from my writing I love God? I hope so because that is what I want you to know most about me. I am also a writer who loves taking on fiction prompts and crafting a story. One day you will read my work in print. Until then enjoy it here! For free!
