Snoopy stealthily worked his way to the rear of the pet store, pulling the Indiana Jones fedora low across his eyes to conceal his identity. Woodstock fluttered near the door, acting as his lookout.
The Little Red-Haired Girl waited patiently for her weekly hush package from him.
“Five thousand dollars, as agreed.”
“You’re sure this is necessary?”
“Necessary, you know what would happen if Blockhead got the girl?”
“I remember what you said.”
“Confidence. He’d kick the football. Strike out batters. Make me go to obedience school.”
“That would be bad?”
“Bad. You know all that hoopla with that Skywalker kid and “The Force”?
“Yes.”
