Five Sentence Fiction – Bliss

This is a new challenge I ferreted out last week and I am glad to be a part of the growing fraternity/sorority again this week. The word is bliss. I came at this from the angle of a parent, something I can grasp very well. Five sentences to give my flavor of what Bliss could mean. Thanks Lillie for the chance to do this.

Four piles of clothes balance precariously on the kitchen table as the twin girls rumble through the kitchen. Play time for them begins before the sun makes an appearance and save a short hour nap after lunch goes late into the evening. Stay at home mom is the label she wears with pride, keeping tabs and Macie and Gracie, as they discover their world. A wife of six years, she knows there will be no seven year itch for her. She knows she has found the perfect place to fulfill her fondest desires.
