It is hard to believe we are already half way through the ten day Blog Shorts – Dog Days of Summer festival with the hostess of hostesses, Blogdramedy. This is my second round with one of her creations, following the Bog Festivus last December. So far I have uncovered four behind the scenes stories of some of the Hollywood canine elite.
Today we hear about that lovable Jack Russell Terrier that shared the same abode with a radio psychiatrist and kept his sanity in spite of all the psychoanalyzing of every situation and relationship.

“Let’s talk about the women. We will start with Daphne,” Doctor Frepshire said.
“Hot. English. Babe. Enough said.”
“Ok, now to Roz.”
“Hot. Smoky voice, killer body. Know what I am sayin’ Doc?”
“I see.”
“What about Maris?”
Eddie’s eyes suddenly narrow as he looks both ways before answering. “That is a show secret.”
“Mr. Moose, we must cover everything.”
“It was Summer 1993, first rehearsal. I was perched on the sofa and Niles came in with Maris. I lost it. I never saw a more gorgeous babe. Very soon it was clear we could never be on set together.”
“So that is why she never appeared on screen?”
“Exactly!”

Note: Eddie’s real name was credited as Moose.

Those boots were made for humpin’.
What?
I like the interview angle with Eddie, especially since he’s such a simple dog and they were such complex characters. I bet he’d have a lot to tell.
Down, doggie, down! 🙂
I KNEW it! That Eddie sure had a way with the babes.
