Fluffy’s Flying Fears – Blog Shorts – Dog Days of Summer #4

It is day number 4 of the ten day Blog Shorts – Dog Days of Summer festival with the hostess of hostesses, Blogdramedy. This is my second round with one of her creations, following the Bog Festivus last December. You can expect some hilarity and hard to believe fiction from those brave enough to strap on their helmets for this wild ride. Each day we take a famous pooch and have our crack at telling their hidden story.

This episode tells how Fluffy deals with harry Potter’s erratic flying adventures. Thankfully he could trade stories with his fellow flyers, Snoopy and Blacktoe.

Fluffy stumbles into the watering hole shaking from his recent ride with the Potter. Waiting at the table was the famous World War 1 flying ace, nursing a root beer.

“What’s the word Fluff?”

“He’s goin’ ta be the death of me!”

“The kid shoulda gone through training like me!” Snoopy said.

“You know your doghouse never leaves the ground, right?”

Snoopy swigs and ignores his diminutive friend.

“Buy a harness.”

“A harness.”

“You won’t fall off,” Snoopy said as he held a paw up for another mug.

“What if he crashes?”

“Then a harness will mean certain death.”

“Same as now.”

“You my friend are doomed then.”

“Crazy wizard!”
