She told him she would wait until 8:01, but not one moment more. For her it was time for him to choose. He continued to proclaim she was the only one for his heart, But she heard it before. When Dirk crushed her six years before it ruined all her thoughts of happy ever after. She waited imaptiently, tapping her foot the seconds ticked away on her last chance.

Across town he scrambled around his hotel room trying to get ready, His phone dead, he had no way to contact her. He glanced at the digital clock again and cursed himself for not changing it , was it subtract five hours or four in this forsaken country?

Her bag seemed heavier as she lifted in with regret and defeat in her shoulders. Two steps to go and she felt the tears. Then the weight of the bags disappeared and his strong arms enveloped her.
