A Word a Week Challenge – Parade

My friend Kim at Tranquil Dreams introduced me to another weekly photo challenge. I love these because I am a big photo fiend, snapping tons of photos in every adventure I take. I do it for my memory as much as anything, but occasionally, especially since joining Word Press there are recurring challenges that allow me to delve into my photo repository. This challenge is initiated by Sue@A Word In Your Ear and I invite you to check out her pictures as well.

I have several photos I could use for this challenge. Both of my children are part of their high school marching band, so I have several from their parades. I also made several pictures when we traveled to Florida and visited Disney World. This was just five years ago when our kids got their first chance to see the happiest place on earth.

These photos are from the Main Street Family Fun Day Parade on March 20th of 2008. We were crazy as we took on four parks in four days. By the time we returned on Sunday of the week we were all exhausted beyond our ability to comprehend.

This was only one of many parades we witnessed in the Disney parks. I looke for pictures from the other parades, but could not locate any more. I hope you enjoy these.

My son was thirteen when we went and was a Disney junkie. He looked like a much younger child as he took in the wonder with his whole heart. I can remember seeing tears on his cheeks as he watched the electric light parade at the Magic Kingdom.

Ah the mention, it is the least I can do. You have some wonderful stuff that some people might not get to see otherwise.

So you took time to read what I wrote and I appreciate it, but comments are even better!
