This week I decided to continue the story from last week. If you did not read last week’s story or need a refresher you can read it here at Freedom Flower. The abused wife starts her new life as a single woman after dealing with the abuser. But she has trouble coming.
The Friday Fictioneers will entertain you with the diversity of style as we all share the same picture but invariable all see something different in the photo. Doug Macilroy supplied the visual reference for this week. It is an outdoor capture of a beautiful animal that I am sure will feed our imaginations quite well.
Genre: General fiction
Detective Sophie Marcus shook off the feeling she should know something more about her current case. This was not the time to be mulling over job. Jeb expected her undivided attention. This beautiful horse was a source of such happiness within her and she needed to focus solely on him.
Jeb picked up the hose when she turned it on to fill his trough. He was a smart horse Sophie knew that. He acted different than most animals, like there was a higher wisdom working between his cream colored ears. Sophie rubbed his nose as she felt the relaxation fill her body. It was at that moment she understood the feeling about her case. The wife lied.
