This is a semi-true tale of my son’s experience when we visited the Disney Parks in the spring of 2007. My son loves Goofy more than any other Disney character. He made the purchase of the hat shown here as soon as he saw it and it is dear to him even today at 17 years of age.
The story of how Goofy ate him is worth telling, so let me do that now. We were at Animal Kingdom when this picture was made and my son was showing the wear of two parks in two days, so he sat for a moment and tilted his head downward. Suddenly i was aware of this little kid nearby pointing toward my son in this position and saying with half horror and half amazement “GOOOFFYY!!!” I had to laugh as I realized what the scene looked like to the little tyke and tried to assure him that everything was okay not only with Goofy but my own little boy.
